Summit Achiever

Duration: 8 weeks
Frequency: From 5 hours a week
Suitable For: All riders interested in improving climbing strength and endurance stamina as you will work to your own individual training zones.

Session Overview

The training sessions in this plan will be structured and progressive. The 2 weekly compulsory sessions will focus on:

Session 1 - A combination of longer steady alpine climbs along with shorter "Mountain Goat" intervals (Lower cadence strength efforts) to improve your all-round climbing ability. 

Session 1 - Climb Smarter Session Structure

Session 2 - Longer stamina intervals at sub threshold pace that are interlaced with steadier endurance pace efforts in zone 2 to condition the body to adapt with no recovery.
