The training sessions in this plan will be structured and progressive. The 2 weekly compulsory sessions will focus on:
Session 1 - A combination of longer steady alpine climbs along with shorter "Mountain Goat" intervals (Lower cadence strength efforts) to improve your all-round climbing ability.
Session 1 - Climb Smarter Session Structure
Session 2 - Longer stamina intervals at sub threshold pace that are interlaced with steadier endurance pace efforts in zone 2 to condition the body to adapt with no recovery.
