1. A combination of longer steady alpine climbs along with shorter "Mountain Goat" intervals (Lower cadence strength efforts) to improve your all-round climbing ability.

Coach-led sessions

Each LIVE session is lead by an experienced British Cycling coach (and competitive cyclist), providing live feedback on your performance and giving you valuable insights and ways to improve in real time.


We use training software that allows you to monitor your real time power or power to weight data during any timed intervals within a training session. This enables you to accurately track your progress by setting precise benchmarks to maintain and improve upon.

Frequently Asked Questions

An indoor trainer (All require a road bike to connect; some work with the rear wheel in and others work on a drive train system without rear wheel. Examples include Wahoo Kickr, Tacx Neo, Elite Suito. Alternatively, you can complete the remote programme on an indoor bike that can project cadence and power (same applies for the indoor trainer). Examples include Wattbike Atom, Wattbike Nucleus, Wattbike Trainer and Wahoo Indoor bike, etc.  

You will also need a laptop or tablet to download the remote software, ANT+ receiver, comfortable cycling kit, water bottle, heart rate strap and a sweat towel.

Our 4-week programme is suitable for riders of all levels interested in improving their endurance and climbing ability in a structured and progressive environment.

This session will be 90 minutes in length and take place on Saturday 17th June at 08h00. These will take place on St. Anne's Hill in Chertsey. The main part of the session will be skill based and focus on the key climbing techniques to get everyone climbing more efficiently. This session will provide you with expert coaching from a British Cycling Coach.

The immersive replay sessions allow you to complete the live sessions at a time that suits you. Your LIVE rider stats will slot into the immersive leaderboard as if you are doing the session live. This allows you to still be able to "ride against" other riders on the progamme, giving you the motivation to stay focused and working hard while being pushed by others.

The group coach call will be 30 minutes in length and take place on Tuesday 13th June at 19h30. These will take place over Zoom. The call will cover understanding and using the data to support your training, recovery session and other key topics. This call will also give you the opportunity to ask the coach any questions you have.

This programme has been designed to finish in 4 weeks. No credits will be available past the 4 weeks so please make sure you attend all your sessions or use your replay credits for the sessions you miss, before the end of the programme.

There will be approximately 2 x 60 minute on bike training sessions each week. We also recommend following the sessions with a 20-minute post session stretch. The live online package has extra features including free access to the Njinga Cycling Academy for on and off bike content, 90 minute outdoor group hill climbing coaching session and much more.
