Total training time = 9 hours
You will receive a detailed training plan broken down into:
- 4.5 hours on bike training (3 hours on road and 2 x 45 minutes indoors)
- 4.5 off bike training (5 x 10 minutes Core, 5 x 20-25 mins S&C and 1 hour deep stretching and 3 x 20 mins post ride stretches).
This is an evergreen programme, meaning you can sign up, start, and do the course in your own time and at your own convenience.

As part of our 8 week Climb Like a Pro programme, you'll get access to our exclusive online training platform, community platform, and much more. All content will be drip-fed to you online a week at a time from the date of purchase. There will be six sessions to complete each week at your own convenience and from the comfort of your own home.
Demonstrating essential climbing techniques plus daily core and S&C exercises to build power and speed on even the steepest of climbs.
On-and-off bike training schedule providing you with a weekly structure and focus over the next 30 days to help you drive performance improvement.
To track your progress at the beginning and end of the 8 weeks
Boost your training with structured performance-driven training tips and advice to improve your climbing.
To put new climbing techniques in to practice and to build your leg strength there will be indoor strength building sessions twice a week or outdoor hill reps if you don't have an indoor trainer. There will also be a longer weekly ride out recommended.
Get support and motivation from other cyclists also in the programme in our private Facebook group.
Increase your flexibility and muscle range of motion to improve your power, balance, and recovery with weekly deep stretch session and a post ride stretch routine.

On day one, you will also have the option to set yourself a climbing elevation challenge for the duration of the 8 week programme. You can choose a total elevation target to ride of either 5000m, 8,000m, or our mega 10,000m goal. Each week, you'll have an average elevation target to work towards to help you hit your key milestones.
No climbing: I'm in it to improve my fitness.
Development: I'll average 625m of climbing per week.
Intermediate: I'll average 1000m of climbing per week
Hardcore: I'll average 1250m of climbing per week
Each week, you will get access to 5 core and S&C session videos to help strengthen your core and key cycling muscles.
The core workouts will target the upper abs, lower abs and obliques (sides abs), while the S&C element will focus on a specific muscle groups each day.
You will also get access to over 65 technique videos to review if you are unsure how to complete any of the exercises correctly.
Twice a week you will get access to a recommended indoor training session to complete. This will have a specific climbing focus.
If you don't have access to an indoor trainer to complete these sessions, there will also be an on bike alternative to complete outdoors.
These sessions will focus on building your climbing strength with focused power intervals and low cadence drills.
Once a week we recommend you follow the deep stretch session, a 60 minute focus on improving your flexibility, range of motion and to help aid recovery. A must for any rider looking to increase their climbing ability.
Finally, to bring it all together each week there is a recommended outdoor ride. These will be progressive over the 8 weeks and give you a chance to put new climbing skills into practice, rack up your climbing elevation and track your performance improvements.

Having access to the recommended equipment will help you get the best out of the programme. If you don't have or aren't able to get your hands on the recommended equipment, don't worry! There are always alternatives you can use.
To get the most out of this programme we recommend you have:
A road bicycle, comfortable cycling kit, water bottle, resistance bands and bike computer to track elevation.
Additional nice to haves include:
Exercise or yoga mat, a mix of weights or kettlebells (Handmade weights will work as well), cycling shoes, a power meter, and a heart rate monitor.
The group option will allow you to train and learn with other people at the same time. The programme will start on a specific date and include live class options so you can all train together online. We look to run a group Climb Like A Pro Programme every quarter throughout the year.
We strongly recommend following the order the programme has been set out in as closely as possible to see the most benefits. We do however understand that life can get in the way and the plan may not be possible to follow in the exact order that has been outlined. If you do need to change the order, we offer recommendations within the programme to ensure you continue to train smart.
There will be approximately 4.5 hours of off the bike training and 4.5 hours of on the bike training a week.
